Battle of the Bands is CAB’s oldest running event. This year we celebrate our 16th annual hosting of the Battle of the Bands. This event allows local bands to showcase their music to students at TAMUCC while also competing for a cash prize and a chance to open up for the Islander Music Festival held in the spring. A panel of judges is typically present to determine the winner, and participants are able to vote for the People’s Choice.
Wild’N’Wacky is an event co-hosted by CAB, Recreational Sports and I-ADAPT. This event is meant to educate students on how to stay safe during spring break. Offices, organizations and Corpus Christi non-profits host activities ranging from alcohol safety, driving under the influence, safe sex, proper skin protection and many more. Free giveaways and free food are also provided for students who participate.
