UCSO Student Organization Awards

Do you feel that your organization has done some amazing things this year? We would love to recognize and reward your efforts! Each year UCSO recognizes a student organizations as well as an Advisors for their efforts and accomplishments at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. The winners are announced at the Student Engagement and Success Leadership and Service awards hosted at the end of April in the University Center Ballrooms. 

Student Organization Criteria

To be eligible for the Student Organization of The Year Award, your organization must meet the following criteria:

  1. Organizations must be recognized by the University.
  2. Organizations must be in good standing with the UCSO.
  3. Organizations must have a full-time Faculty or Staff advisor.

Award Categories & Applications

  • Organization of the Year

Demonstrated significant organizational innovation through the programs or services offered and the management of internal operations. Exemplified organization's mission and purpose through specific events and activities. Brought positive public recognition to Texas A&M University. Impacted a diverse range of university constituents. Facilitated developmental opportunities for organizational leaders and members.

  • Organization Advisor of the Year

Advisor clearly demonstrated initiative in working with student org. members Advisor was available to his/her org's leadership/membership Advisor effectively facilitated the org's efforts to accomplish its mission Advisor was dedicated to the development of student learning Advisor served as a role model for organization members.
