Islander Clean

Islander Spring Clean is a kick off to homecoming week where students beautify our campus by picking up trash and anything littered on campus. Show your Islander spirit by lending your help. FREE breakfast while supplies last.

Medallion Hunt Kickoff

Each year Spirit Competition teams take part in the campus wide hunt for the Homecoming Medallions. Throughout the week leading up to the Homecoming Game, students are given various clues to the locations of the medallions. At this event, we kickoff the hunt and release the first clue.

The Student vs. Faculty/Staff Basketball game has been a tradition for years. It is a fun and exciting way to get students involved with the professional members of the university. During halftime, the Homecoming court will be announced and the Spirit Team will perform. This is a must-see, entertaining, and competitive experience that you won't want to miss.

SGA Penny Wars

Help the Student Government Association raise funds for the Hector P. Garcia Endowment Scholarship by participating in Penny Wars! Positive points include pennies and cash bills while silver coins can be used as negative points towards other organizations! The organization with the most positive points overall will get points towards the spirit competition.

Anchors Aweigh

Sponsored by Alumni Association

As was a tradition during the days of the Tarpons and the University of Corpus Christi, students and alumni will have the opportunity to paint the anchor white during this annual Homecoming event. The anchor will stay white during the week of Homecoming connecting students to the rich history of UCC and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

In addition to the painting, the Alumni Association will be offering some snacks, hot drinks and awesome giveaways.
