What is Islander Leadership Conference?

The Islander Leadership Conference is a free, day-long, opportunity for students to attend a variety of breakout sessions on general leadership topics, as well as an impactful keynote address by a featured speaker. This conference is provided to students with the intent to improve leadership skills, to become more marketable in the workforce, and to grow into global leaders.

Each year the conference focuses on a different theme. Past conferences have highlighted communication, decision making, ethical leadership, and inclusion, and how these topics relate to effective leadership. The planning committee is excited to announce that this year's theme will be "Navigating through Troubled Waters".

If you are a faculty, staff, student or community member interested in presenting at this year's Islander Leadership Conference, contact the planning committee at leads@tamucc.edu.
